Mei & Phil met in university. While it was love at first sight for Mei, Phil thought she was completely out of his league and read every signal wrong. After a few months of patiently waiting, she finally made the first move and they've been inseparable since.
Fast forward to June 30th 2018…
The weather forecast called for some HOT HOT heat! This didn’t stop the bride and groom to be in great spirits for their special day. I’m sure many of the guests forgot about the humidex when seeing Mei walk down the aisle. Her and Phil had a few of us crying when exchanging their personal vows. And what better background for a wedding ceremony than the Toronto city skyline on the Palais Royale Ballroom harbour front patio! While guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and sipped on some cool refreshing cocktails, a Chinese tea ceremony followed for family and close friends. We love how Mei & Phil included these beautiful traditions into their wedding day. These made for memorable moments I’m sure all the guests won’t forget!
They got the party started with some epic grand entrances & a traditional lion dance! …oh and nothing says party like a few flaming cocktails!
Squeezing in one last practice session for the garter toss...
How beautiful is that view ?
That classic "Bridesmaids" pose... and the guys went for it too!
Mei & Phil (and a few family members...) saved their wine bottles for 2 years to make these centre pieces.
