I met Aurélie & Mathieu 5 years ago when they both moved to Montréal from France. Over the years we’ve become close friends, I even have started calling them my French cousins! I was so honoured when they chose me to be their photographer for their Provençal wedding in June.
The wedding took place in Éguilles, Mathieu’s hometown at City Hall & the local church. The reception followed at le Moulin de la Récense, in Ventabren, a gorgeous 300 year old mill that used to produce olive oil, used to make the famous savon de Marseille. The couple even had personalized olive oil soap wedding favors!
This venue makes for the perfect setting for a romantic evening.
The bride found this cute LOVE banner at a little shop in Carleton Place!
Can't get over that gorgeous lace detail!
The bride & groom set up their own little Photo Booth with a homemade polaroid frame!
